Terms and conditions of sale

Article 1 — Scope and identity of the seller

These terms and conditions of sale (in French, "conditions générales de vente" or "CGV") apply to any booking made with Camping Brudy (the "Campsite"), operated by Arnaud CURVELIER, sole trader ("entrepreneur individuel"), whose registered office is located at Chemin de Brouillet, 48150 Le Rozier, France, registered in the SIRENE register under number 399 559 491 00044 (SIREN 399 559 491, APE code 55.30Z).

Making a booking implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.

Article 2 — Services offered

Camping Brudy offers:

• The rental of bare camping pitches for tent, caravan or motorhome (37 pitches, approximately 100 m² each, shaded, river access 50 m away)
• The rental of 6 fully equipped mobile homes (2 to 6 people, terrace, fitted kitchen)
• Access to a motorhome area with a service point
• Access to Brudy Plage (private beach on the Tarn), to the bar (Licence IV) and to the shop

Opening period: from April to October 2026. Outside the season, the Campsite is closed to the public.

Article 3 — Booking

Bookings are made:

• Through the online form on www.camping-brudy.fr (stay request)
• By phone on 05 65 62 66 33
• By email at contact@camping-des-gorges.fr

Every booking request is followed by a call back or a confirmation email within 24 working hours. The booking becomes firm and final once the deposit is received by the Campsite and the written confirmation has been sent to the customer.

The customer must be of legal age. Any booking by a minor must be subject to written parental consent.

Article 4 — Prices

The prices in force are published on the Rates page of the website and are expressed in euros, all taxes included (in French, "TTC").

They include the pitch or accommodation rented, access to the washrooms and shared facilities, as well as the supply of water and the removal of household waste.

The following are extra and invoiced separately:

• Tourist tax: €0.20 per night and per person aged 18 and over (2026 rate set by the communauté de communes — may change during the season)
• Pets: free of charge (dogs on a lead, categories 1 and 2 prohibited, up-to-date vaccination record required)
• Extra person: as per the price list (adult €5.70 to €7.70, child 2–12 years €2.50)
• Electrical hook-up: optional — 3 A at €3.50, 6 A at €6 per night

Prices may be revised at any time; however, the prices applicable to the booking are those in force on the date of confirmation.

Article 5 — Payment terms

Deposit: A deposit of 25% of the total amount of the stay is requested upon confirmation of the booking. This deposit may be paid by:

• Bank transfer (bank details provided on request)
• Cheque made payable to Arnaud Curvelier — Camping Brudy
• Bank card (on site or via a secure link on request)
• ANCV holiday vouchers

Balance: The balance is due on arrival at the campsite. Accepted payment methods: bank card, cash, cheques, ANCV holiday vouchers.

No online payment is required at the time of the initial booking.

The sums paid at the time of booking constitute a deposit ("acompte") within the meaning of article L214-1 of the French Consumer Code, and not "arrhes": the applicable cancellation conditions are exclusively those set out in Article 6 of these terms and conditions. In the event of cancellation by the Campsite other than in a case of force majeure, the sums paid are refunded in full.

Article 6 — Cancellation and modification

Cancellation by the customer:

• More than 30 days before the arrival date: full refund of the deposit (any bank charges not refunded)
• Between 30 and 7 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit refunded
• Less than 7 days before arrival: deposit retained in full
• In the event of a no-show without notice: the full amount of the stay remains due

Cancellation by the Campsite: In the event of cancellation by the Campsite (natural disaster, force majeure, administrative closure), the customer will be offered either a full refund of the sums paid or a free postponement.

Modification: Any request for modification must be made in writing and is subject to the Campsite's agreement according to availability.

Important — Right of withdrawal: In accordance with article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code ("Code de la consommation"), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date or for a specific period. Once the booking is confirmed, only the cancellation conditions above apply.

Article 7 — Arrival and departure

Bare pitches: Arrival from 2pm, departure before 12pm.

Mobile homes: Arrival between 4pm and 7pm, departure before 10am. Inventory check on arrival and on departure.

Mobile home deposit (security deposit): A security deposit of €300 is requested on arrival and returned on departure after checking the inventory and cleanliness.

A valid identity document is required on arrival for each adult staying (compulsory register).

Article 8 — Internal rules

The Campsite's internal rules ("règlement intérieur") are displayed at reception and provided on arrival. They can be consulted online on request. Every customer undertakes to comply with them and to ensure that the people accompanying them do so as well.

Key points: quiet observed from 10pm to 7am, pets kept on a lead, traffic speed limited to 10 km/h, organised waste collection (sorted recycling), respect for shared facilities.

Any serious breach may result in exclusion without refund.

Article 9 — Major risks (flood zone)

Camping Brudy is located on the banks of the Tarn, in an area subject to the Flood Risk Prevention Plan (in French, "Plan de Prévention des Risques Inondation", PPRI) of the municipality of Le Rozier. Customers are informed of this risk and undertake to follow the safety instructions provided at reception.

In the event of an alert (siren, message from the authorities, VigiCrues orange or red alert), an evacuation protocol is implemented: withdrawal to higher ground (secondary car park, town hall), evacuation of vehicles and personal belongings by the occupants.

The Campsite cannot be held liable for damage caused to customers' belongings in the event of flooding, provided that the alert instructions have been followed.

Article 10 — Force majeure

Neither party may be held liable for the non-performance or delays in the performance of any of its obligations resulting from an event of force majeure as defined in article 1218 of the French Civil Code ("Code civil") (natural disaster, major flooding, epidemic, administrative decision, etc.).

Article 11 — Insurance & liability

The Campsite holds professional civil liability insurance. However, customers are strongly advised to take out holiday and cancellation insurance with their own insurer, as well as civil liability insurance covering their stay.

The Campsite accepts no liability in the event of theft, loss or damage to customers' personal belongings.

Article 12 — Personal data

The processing of personal data collected as part of your booking complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For details, please see our privacy policy.

Article 13 — Consumer mediation

In accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code ("Code de la consommation"), every consumer has the right to use the services of a consumer mediator free of charge.

Camping Brudy is in the process of joining Médiation Tourisme et Voyage (MTV) (Tourism and Travel Mediation): the mediator's full contact details and the referral procedure will be published here as soon as the membership takes effect.

Article 14 — Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after the amicable and mediation procedures have failed, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
